My purple christmas tree! (Taken with instagram)

I saw the Glee 3D movie tonight and loved it! Duh, it’s Glee…and a movie…and music. What’s not to like? It made me feel like I was back at the concert. It was really interesting to see the diversity of Glee’s fans that flocked to the concerts to see them. Young, old, fat, thin, gay, straight, boys, girls, black, white, beige, chola, orient made (I channeled Lady Gaga there). It is just amazing to me that a TV show about a Glee Club is one of the most popular things in pop culture right now and appeals to such a HUGE demographic.

I was so excited to watch Glee when it first came out because A. I was in choir in high school and B. musicals are my favorite thing. So having a mini Broadway musical in my living room every week was like a dream come true. Although I don’t agree with all of the messages that Glee sends 100% of the time, overall I just love it. It makes me so happy and I had a great time seeing the movie tonight. These actors are so talented, but while I was watching them I also realized that they are real people who are blessed to be able to do what they love.

Seeing Lea Michele sing “Don’t Rain on My Parade” (and every other song for that matter) was definitely one of the highlights for me. That girl is so incredibly talented, I just love her voice. I definitely think that she is our generation’s Barbara Streisand and that she will be around for a very, very long time blessing us with her amazing vocal ability.
I also love, love LOVE Darren Criss (Blaine) and Heather Morris (Britney). They are both adorable in their own ways and obviously very talented! And check out this post for my thoughts on Amber Riley (Mercedes).

Can’t wait for Season 3 to start!
